So I'm pretty much horrible at keep track of whats going on in Bowlspace.  I havent been on in ages!  Sorry to all those that sent me messages and requests. 

So just for a quick update...  I bowled my first 300 back in Michigan on March 23rd.  The Sunday before I left for Florida.  I havent picked up a ball since then.  Its sad, I know.  But atleast I ended in Michigan with a bang right!?!

I havent been able to start bowling in FL yet since I cant really afford it.   Back at home I used to get the hook up deals with the proshop cuz I knew the guy pretty well... NOT used the real prices! lol  Maybe after next month I'll be able to afford it.  We'll see I guess.

So it's definitely been awhile since I've been on.  I'm currently a student at Oakland University (and no they don't have a bowling team).  This fall I joined a youth league at a local bowling alley.  I really wanted to work on raising my average and getting it established so that maybe I could go bowl for a college since our high school team wasn't sanctioned.  That planned back fired pretty heavily.  I was the only person above age 7 and was put in my own bracket and had no one to bowl against.  It felt like I was just practicing.  No pressure or anything.  On top of the lack of competition, they never oiled the lanes for me.  Most of the time I'd be bowling gutter to gutter and still manage to hit the 7pin.  I quit the league after 8 weeks and only having a 167 average.  I used to be at 187 and I wanted to improve my average, not hurt it.

I'm hoping to move to Bradenton, Florida here shortly.  Hopefully by June/July.  I'm kind of hoping I'll find someway to get back into bowling a lot more down there.
